One of the toughest matches England has faced in recent times and they passed all the tests with flying colours. A great performance.
If England are to win the T20 tournament again, never has there been a better opportunity. A very impressive victory. And this without Stokes, Archer etc..
Who will replace Mills?
Willey or Wood I’d expect.

Willey or Wood I’d expect. Topley is the replacement. Another left-armer - and preferred to Willey (is he injured?)

Willey was in the squad already, for the injury replacement it would have been from Topley, Dawson or Vince. Remains to be seen who will start, I'd be happy with either Willey or Topley (apparently Wood's ankle is still troublesome and he won't be ready for the SA game) and extremely unhappy if it were Tom Curran.

Correct yourself if there's nobody else to correct now do ya Flash? It's tricky to correct a moderator, so well done.
England rule, and that's a fact. If we don't win this comp we should sack and shoot everyone. Every other nation is in bits, even India, who I think are sha**ed out. Virat's had enough, they're there for the taking.
Australia and SA have got nothing, Windies are old men, and Pakistan - they're quite good actually, I forgot about them.
It's ours or Pakistan's. I hope if it ain't us, it is Pakistan.
We're gonna wipe the floor with the Proteas and as a 90s boy, that's brilliant.

Maybe we should have gone with Tom Curran after all.

What a pity to see Roy limping out, presumably Vince will come in from the two remaining injury replacements and Bairstow will open so a straight fight between Billings and Vince for the vacant spot. I wouldn't mind seeing the Vince who battered Pakistan & then Sussex shortly afterwards.

I’d go for the extra bowler in Willey, bowls in the power play, gives a left arm angle and adds to the lower order batting.

Yes! Finals Day. Or whatever. Harsh on SA - 4 out of 5 wins and can't make the semis. Tough format.
Poor old India. The favourites have fallen. Unfortunately, we've seen some racism coming out of India towards a Muslim in the Indian team. They better make sure it ain't coming from a whitey, or there'll be trouble for damn sure. Otherwise though, don't matter.

166 looks 10-20 short. England will have to bowl well to defend this.

Poor 16th over from the Surrey T20 captain gave the advantage back to NZ. They needed 57 off 24 and got home with an over to spare.

Failed to capitalise on being gifted those two early wickets, we shouldn't have lost from there. Fair play to Neesham though, that little cameo won them the game.

I have long thought that CJ bottles the big occasion, he did yesterday, he did in the final V Worcester (3 overs 0-29) He did against Kent this year. (4-0-36-1) England's, rumoured, top death bowl bowler falls at the biggest hurdles. Harsh but true. I expected better, when it really mattered.

I also note CJ doesn't like bowling to left-handers at the death. Needing to go around the wicket seems to put added pressure on him. That is what happened during the 17th over. He switched to over the wicket after 4 balls. Typical, that Neeshan was batting at the time. A right-hander and CJ/England might have faired a lot better.

So Australia do to Pakistan as NZ did to England.
I think the overall consensus was that it would be Pakistan v England in the final. It’s a shame there’s no 3rd place play-off, would have been a good game.
I’ll be cheering for NZ in the final, as I guess most will.
