It better be a multi format multi contract, you multiple morons. And we'll probably never even know until the first squad is announced at Area 51 some time in 2022.

Has signed for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash.
He’s getting around is our George. All great experience for him and can only help his development.

I reckon he will be doing the full year white ball circus from now on.

He signed an all format contract so I would expect to see him in the 4 day side. I would imagine he’ll be retained by Southern Brave in the 💯 but that doesn’t interfere with the CC.

Must be worst excuse I have ever heard about a bowler not playing. Kirtley said at forum after he had bowled several 4 over spells in Hundred not possible to come in and bowl longer spells in a 4 day game

Kirtley said at forum after he had bowled several 4 over spells in Hundred not possible to come in and bowl longer spells in a 4 day game I guess it's possible they're worried about his injury record - although that seems to be cured now he ain't trying to bowl 90 every ball. It's also possible higher powers are calling the shots on this. I would have said, Ok, we'll bowl him several 4 over spells then. He be used to that.

Has been very unsuccessful in his stint in the IPL
Would say that's a positive for us as its unlikely he'll get picked up for next year now

I was rather surprised that he was picked up in the first place being the only uncapped England player there. They obviously saw something in him because they persevered with him and he played every game he was a available for. Fantastic experience for him and can only have helped his game being around those international players and coaches.

I'd put it down to being chucked in at the deep end on pitches the like of which he probably hasn't played much on, he tended to bowl 3-4 good balls mixed up with several easy boundaries when he dropped short or overpitched and a few wides when trying to bowl slower and wider. As joe mentioned I wasn't really expecting him to feature as much as he did, thought he was just there to slot in for someone more experienced if needed.

Agreed, the pitches in the UAE didnt really suit him. He'll have learnt a lot from this experience.
