Useless youngsters, should have cleaned them up quicker. Who cares if we win anyway, makes no odds. The important thing is the hommies, sorry, homies, done good. Real good. It was all down to a little bit of faith from Wells.
Well done Wells, Garton, Whittingham and, ahem, Van Zyl - our one, which is allowed, overseas player.

In fairness, Wells obviously had no choice but to bowl the youngsters as Robinson must have been unable to bowl at pace. Having said that, they bowled very well, aided by some poor Durham batting. I'm doubtful as to whether there will be any further play.

Don't p**s on the fire Northfan, it's raging right now. Same could be said of the Sussex batsmen in the second innings for the record, from what I heard on the soundbox.

My weather forecasting is on a par with the BBC! Play has resumed and I've left the ground and miss the final wicket. Great win for Sussex!

Sussex win by 132 runs with Jordan, Garton and Whittingham taking 3 each and a run-out to Garton too.
Great win and further proof, if proof is needed, that when you give the rookies game time they come good.
Archer, Whittingham, Sakande and Garton are our future seam attack and it appears to be in good hands.

Great to see the youngsters spearhead the seam attack and give us a much deserved win. Augurs very well for the future. Patience is a virtue and all that.
Well done Sussex and a thankful comeback after the last two disappointing games.

Archer, Whittingham, Sakande and Garton are our future seam attack and it appears to be in good hands. And please don't forget Robinson, whose accurate, good length medium pace has been much missed. After all the lurid stories about his indiscipline at Kent and Yorkshire he had shown Sussex great devotion and a hell of a lot of hard work, on the pitch and frequently against the run of play, and through patience and exercise following injury and operations. A captain in the making.

Robinson, Whittingham and Sakande are all 23 although of course Robinson has more experience.
