So that means no Carey. Who’s going to keep wicket?

So that means no Carey. Who’s going to keep wicket? Will Travis Head be the other T20 player next season?

Excellent news, but does this mean David Wiese will now not be joining the T20 squad, given the fact the team already has Travis Head?

Will we see much of Travis Head? Both Head and Rashid are likely to miss games, so let’s perm any two from three

Would say this would have been possible due to the huge savings on Gillespie's wage

This signing shows there is life beyond Gillespie, so well done Sussex. As for jonboy's comments, it is very difficult to know exactly what internationals are to be played and how many games Head and Khan will be involved in. The pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works. Meanwhile, do we know when the English T20 will be played? Presumably, if The 100 goes ahead, earlier than usual. For example, the Australian international line-up for the summer of 2021 presently is: June 2021The ICC World Test Championship with Final played at Lord's, England.June - July 2021Australia vs West IndiesFirst, the Test Championship. The top 3 are India, Australia and England, so it is likely Australia could reach, at least, the semi-final. Back in April, the ICC announced that it would look at the future of the scheduling at a later date, once there is a better understanding of the impact of the pandemic on cricket. So, too soon to know anything of substance. I would suggest it is too early to make any assumptions. You never know, both Khan and Head could play all their matches with Sussex. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019–21_ICC_World_Test_Championship

Very good news. He is the best T20 bowler in the world for a reason. Great coup for us😁

I suspect once international commitments are known, we’ll assess what we might need for short spells within the competition.

Personally prefer it if Head were to concentrate on championship and maybe 50 over. Use Rashid and Wiese for the 20-20
