Congratulations to Will Sheffield signing his first professional contract with Sussex Cricket. Wishing him every success. Will is the first graduate from the Aldridge Cricket Academy, a state school in Brighton, to sign as a pro cricketer. I have been proud to be involved in ACA from before start when I discussed the proposal with Sir Rod Aldridge who has made a generous donation to build a superb Indoor School, which is also used by many local clubs. Will's contract is a wonderful example for aspiring cricketers. The link before shows more detail and names other cricketers from ACA,like Tara Norris, who have done well.
