With the season now over, at least for Sussex, as we should just about be safe in the championship, we need to think about the future, and where we go from here. Another dismal one day campaign, and despite the occasional highlights, a disappointing four day adventure. What changes are required to make us competitive once again?

Back on topic - sadly, cricket in this country is going the same way as football. The financial disparity amongst the counties is such that the various competitions are not on a level playing field any more. We should be grateful if we can retain Div 1 status. I think we all recognise that when we were winning trophies, we were punching above our weight.
Having said that - why are we no longer able to punch above our weight? Is it because we no longer have the benefit of the squad that Peter Moores put together?
