Think that performance pretty much sums up Dizzy’s tenure, dismal in the extreme

Couldn't agree more. Massive mistake getting him in on big wages no doubt which we can't afford and not deserved. Take Bopara with you when you go dizzy. Been a huge disappointment and waste of money too. What are they smoking at Hove? Greenfield can join dizzy on his one way ticket home. Today just sums up the mess we are in.

Let down by the batters again, same old story, getting boring now.

Well that was weak. To be fair, having seen Lancs a few times and looking at their paper team, they're a good side. So no shame in that really. I'm positive we're a better side posting and squeezing, always have been. We won the toss but chased, poorly. Also, why pick Beer and not bowl him at all? This must be the only game he hasn't even bowled an over. Total waste of a much needed extra batsman, potentially. But picking Beer with Briggs and Rawlins just emphasises that we should have set, for me. Bizarre decision making, as usual.
Poor season, no bones about it. Well played Lancs, good luck to them, good side, hope they win it.
P.S. No rain Joe, anywhere. What did the forecasters fall on again - rain, dry, rain, dry rain, dry...?

No, no rain Fraudy but there’s a very big black cloud hanging over the county ground at Hove at the moment and it’s got nothing to do with the weather.

That's only half the story philh. On the last ball of the penultimate over, Lilley let one through his legs on the boundary that should have been a single, but ended up being four. But for those three runs, Notts would have needed 16 instead of 13 off the final over and the subsequent howler off the last ball would have been inconsequential. A real shame as Leicestershire put up a strong show to keep the Notts run chase down.
