Signed a 3 year contract extension. He’s been a little bit off the boil this season but I’m confident he’ll come good, still very young. Massive show of faith from the club considering his below par performances this season. Agreed. He has a lot of potential and is Sussex's best red ball slowy. He can also bat. Sussex do need to find another decent spinner though. Can't see Lenham or Foreman breaking into the red ball team. |

Mixed day for Jack Carson, playing for the England Lions against India A. After whacking 53 not out off 35 balls to allow the Lions to declare on 553/8, he bowled 4 overs at 0-42 as India A struggled to 215/8.
