Talking of Chelsea fans, it's good that they're not cowing in the atmosphere of near unanimous revulsion of Putin by detaching themselves from Roman Abramovich who has been the Saviour of their club for the last 20 years.
Whilst sequistrating Roman's assets is probably the morally right thing to do to indirectly bring pressure on Putin to abandon his war and bring economic pressure on his regime coupled with Roman's past links with Putin which facilitated the securing of his wealth, most Western countries were happy to accommodate Putin until recently and conduct global business with him.
So credit to Chelsea supporters for not kicking their ally while he's down just to appease majority opinion.

Icky, the much loved Chelsea General in the 70s and 80s in a bad way. Now recuperating in Brighton. The man's a legend and I say that as a Spurs fan. You can beat this matie. youtu.be/DY9r4LJamv0

I met him by chance when I was in the Philippines some years ago. I’m surprised he’s back in England. Met him with a Chelsea mate in T Wells where he used to live and drink in the now closed down Roebuck. He needs ongoing medical aid which he can only attain free at the point of demand in the UK as a naturalised citizen probably of a palliative nature. Obviously when the cancer was first diagnosed it would have taken too long to return to UK and wait in the system for NHS treatment. People have given very generously towards his costs. A salutary lesson of setting up home abroad, as I know to my cost that advanced cancer can blindside you when you dont expect it. In my and my wife's experience, she has stage 4 ovarian, despite the ongoing horror stories of the NHS, our treatment, thus far, has been excellent.
