Approx 24 November - but do not hold me to this! That's what I was told, too, Jim, and in the opening post on this thread on October 15, I wrote: "I asked an ECB contact yesterday when they will be published and was told they are aiming for w/c Nov 24." It's good to know that date hasn't slipped, which it sometimes does if counties raise too many objections to the draft list, which is already with you. The other question is when is Sussex going to start selling 2015 memberships? Sussex has in the past been one of the first to go to market , usually ensuring they are on sale at the last home match of the previous season. This year the county is one of the last to announce. The cash flow must be very healthy for Sussex to be able to delay putting them on sale!

Hove to host England v Australia women's Ashes T20 international on Friday Aug 28. Nice way to kick off the Bank Hol weekend.
After the two month absence of any championship cricket at Hove last season between July 9 and Sept 9, is it too much to hope that we might get a four day home LVCC game over that Bank Holiday weekend, starting on Sun Aug 30?
Yes, it probably is; last season the 12 day period of Aug 26-Sept 6 was given over to RLC quarter and semi-finals - which enabled the Sussex squad to enjoy a very, very long weekend off!
So plan b: can we qualify in the RLC and have a home quarter-final over the Bank Hol, please?

With T20 Finals day being 29th August and 30th the reserve day then the answer to a four day game starting on the Sunday must be no. The Bank Holiday Monday would be the earliest possible scheduled start date

The Bank Holiday Monday would be the earliest possible scheduled start date Thanks for that, jimbon. I'd overlooked that T20 finals day had already been announced for the Bank Hol weekend and so Sussex will be busy elsewhere! So 2015 T20 finals are a week later than last season - hopefully that means they have abandoned the daft notion of playing it on wet and cold nights in mid-May and have at least pushed the tournament's start back a couple of weeks to the end of May/beginning of June?

An early leak of (some) of the season's opening fixtures in the Guardian online just published County cricket fixtures 2015: Yorkshire start title defence at Worcestershire Sunday 12 April 2015 Hampshire v Sussex, Ageas Bowl Sunday 19 April 2015 Sussex v Worcestershire, Hove Nice little teaser. What happened to the embargo? On edit: Article removed...clanger time. Still it's nice to have some dates filled in for next Spring.

Indeed, and very disappointing for Worcestershire supporters to think they will start the new season with two defeats

Two wins against newly-promoted sides struggling to find their feet in Div One to get Sussex's season off to a flying start!!

Two wins against newly-promoted sides struggling to find their feet in Div One to get Sussex's season off to a flying start!! And two opportunities for watching reasonably locally so early in the year - in contrast to the great post-July desert.

Release of fixtures delayed by 24 hours on the grounds that it is a bad day to announce good news.

1st impression on quick glance is that similar to last season no championship cricket at Hove between June 10th and August 21 St - this is just wrong.
