Don't forget a few other counties are looking for a new head coach as well, so the same suspects will be applying for the same jobs. Sussex may be the last option for whoever doesn't get offered one of the other vacancies. Sarah Taylor should get the job some day, i hope she applied for this vacancy. |

Now reported on the BBC website. It looks an excellent appointment and I hadn’t realised he is Ollie Robinson step father which is an interesting twist.

We aren’t using Guildford for some reason but you
never get an explanation why. County cricket clubs
PR is awful they treat paying members like something they
have trodden in.
It can’t be financial with us as we are absolutely loaded.

When the fixtures were announced there was a small bit on Fixture Constraints meaning there wont be any outground cricket again this summer. So i'm guessing the schedule just doesnt allow it. Arundel is the only loss in my opinion. |

A real pity given that the weather today is so good, whereas tomorrow is going to be rainy again. Sussex not having much luck with these friendlies. It will be straight into the first CC game without an official warm-up match.
