Seems The Cricketer magazine have given us a new coach in their pre season preview. Another solid third place though - surely we can push on and improve on that with the new signings? Just for interest their order of finishing is Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Sussex,Durham,Middlesex, Nottinghamshire, Hampshire, Somerset, Worcestershire second division - Essex, Surrey, Lancashire, Kent, Derbyshire, Northants, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire. Not an awful lot to disagree with there although I would have Lancashire above Essex and think Leicestershire could finally win a game or two this season with some interesting signings - McDonald as coach, Cosgrove, McKay - maybe more to follow? Gloucester will surely suffer for the loss of the Gidmans.

I actually fancy Somerset to do well - Rehman factor.
Northants look a hopeless case as they released several of their best players.

Sussex probably look an all rounder short of a challenging team

I confidently expect Luke Wright to be channelling Merce Cunningham this year, with perhaps Brenda taking the Pina Bausch-type roles.
