50 for 5. I'd settle for 100 all out.

50 for 5. I'd settle for 100 all out. We need to achieve something like that and not allow what's happened in the last two games, where we've bowled well, allowed partnerships to develop and struggled when batting. Easiest solution would be to get them out for 75 tops.

34-4 off 13. Great start. Now for Mr Patel. Done. Who do you want knocking over next, howard, because you are clearly the man calling the shots this morning...

Taylor + Hales = 6 - that's some achievement. I hope we can get well on top in this game. You'd have to expect Taylor or Hales to score some runs in the second innings.

Forgot they were playing this morning - delighted when I checked 15 mins ago! What's the deal with the over rate, has there been a delay or purely due to CJ and Mags being unchanged?

The ever-amusing Trent Bridge Live blog ( live.trentbridge.co.uk/) has two mentions of "bowler-friendly conditions", one "helpful pitch for the bowlers" and an "a tad unhappy with the dismissal". Should we put them in touch with the Warwickshire dressing-room and camp-followers so that they can form a Support Group?

Slightly disappointed now 107 runs for 1 wicket since I last posted!!
4 bowlers, probably not enough variety, maybe time for Wells or Nash himself?

I'm finding myself turning from optimistic to pessimistic.

Easy to be critical from afar and after the event, but perhaps the variety of Wells should have been tried 100 runs earlier. Disappointing even if it was a good knock.

Must be some time since a no.11 batsman (albeit at T20) opened the innings in the next match.

Disappointing but not at all surprising. 200 runs from their last four wickets at not much under six an over and we lose two early wickets for 16. Wonder what the pitch and overhead were like?
