As Gloucestershire's stock has fallen in recent matches in this competition, so has that Of Sussex risen. A win tomorrow night will see Sussex amongst the leaders in the South, quite unthought of just a couple of weeks ago. No news yet about squads, but Sussex will hope Mills, Beer, and Robinson are all fit and eager, with a number of batsmen anxious to keep their form ahead of the vital championship game against Warwickshire.

Nice. Radiant. Anyway, with hope that my post doesn't go astray between all the others, I think we should play the same team that has put us on a tiny roll in this little comp - whatever that was. Nash Wright Machan Cachopa! Bailey Brown H-P Beer Yardy Robinson Mills I think that was it, except I have H-P for Finch because our last team was a bowler light, if that was our last team.

Resisting the temptation to say "What's that Bailey done for us so far?" to fraudster, here is a rather large squad announced for the T20 match: GJ Bailey WAT Beer BC Brown C Cachopa HZ Finch ME Hobden CJ Liddle MW Machan TS Mills CD Nash OE Robinson LJ Wright (c) MH Yardy SAA Zaidi Yardy and Zaidi will both have late fitness tests, apparently. www.sussexcricket.co.uk/news-1/preview-sharks-head-to-bristol-to-face-gloucestershire-in-natwest-t20-blastGloucestershire have announced Squad: Marshall, Klinger (C), Cockbain, Handscomb, Howell, Jones (W), Noema-Barnett, J. Taylor, Fuller, Miles, Payne, Hammond, Smith.

Will be a tough game I think, they have some big hitters and some useful bowlers in this format Losing both, Yardy and Zaidi would be a blow

Saw Glos beat Kent by nine wkts in the T20 at Beckenham a couple of weeks ago and they were very impressive with bat and ball.
Should be a good match with par score somewhere north of 180...

His opening over went for just two. Second over went for 18... and third for 21. Very un-Yardy like; possibly not fully fit?

Should be a good match with par score somewhere north of 180... Well I got that right - Glos 185/4. Let's hope I was also right that such a score is no more than par and that Sussex can therefore chase it down!

"EXTRA-ORD-IN-ARY!" says Adrian Harms. I can't remember another match like it. A smash and grab from Lukey. His last 50 coming off 15 balls. Captain Super-Marvel is christened. Sussex are dealing in miracles this season. What will be the next one? Batsmen gliding over the pitch?
