Very poignant and extremely touching, don't mind admitting that picture had my eyes stinging.

Was at Hove today and attended a very moving Memorial Service. Tribute and a poem read by Zac and a heart rendition of GOSBS. Had a lump in my throat when the players came done the steps all wearing Matt's No19 shirt. As a Kent fan, the whole cricket family in England feel your loss Sussex!

I had assumed the oficial investigation into Matt's death had concluded back in the winter but this report www.theargus.co.uk/news/14510458.Investigation_concludes_over_death_of_Sussex_cricket_star_Matt_Hobden/ is published today. “After careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, the Procurator Fiscal concluded that no further action is required.” We don't know what that means since not all of the facts and circumstances have been placed in the public domain. Let's hope that it brings some sense of closure for his family and for his grieving teammates.
