Psst, Baldrick has sent me a tweet. There's a cunning plan afoot. Sussex batsmen told to get out against Stokes only. The Club want Jordan back at Hove and Horsham.

93-4, Joyce out. Will Sussex survive until lunch tomorrow? Unlikely. 4 points and 7th place until Lancashire are next to overtake us. The last 6 weeks reminds one of a Formula 1 race where the early leader is overtaken by everyone else as the driver can't get out of 2nd gear!

When were Sussex batsman known to have followed a plan? Well when Joyce said 'leave it to me, boys', they followed that plan pretty well! But now Ed's understandably got fed up with bailing them out time after time, there isn't a plan b...

Interesting to note that the only player who's fighting at the end is not a Sussex cricketer!
Chris Adams now on TMS praising the Sri Lankan side. What a weird topsy turvy day.

Well, they are. I'm sure the Durham players are miffed about it. Watch out for one man and his dog tomorrow morning.

I had a glimmer of hope at 0-0. Not really. 47 overs, what a pile of pooqueeta. Dazed and confused, and not a woman in sight. Positives? Except for having to play Northants twice I'm struggling. This is the end, beautiful friend. I'm comfortably numb right now.

So Machan isn't injured then why on earth was he not selected? To go into a game with Piolet batting at 7 at of all places Durham was completely and utterly absurd.

But I'm struggling to identify who recorded the song about playing Northamptonshire twice. A wild guess here - was it the b-side to The Day We Went To Bangor?

Losing by 309 runs with almost 3 sessions to go. Very hard to spin any positives on this game and very sad to see Sussex as the present whipping boys of division 1 alongside Northants. Even more disturbing to see Lancashire now gaining momentum, given it could end up as a straight fight between us and them for the second relegation spot. Beating Northants at Hove is now absolutely vital. But hey, let's look on the cheery side. We may have Jordan back in the ranks during July which should give the team a huge fillip. Right now, Sussex are 11 lost souls swimming in a fish bowl as the pain lingers on. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/county-championship-division-one/table

Dunno what you're on about mate - I was just saying how I felt. Feel better now though, strange days have left me, got a whole lotta love again, time to shine on you crazy diamond.
