No mention of Alec Douglas-Home by Supermac. Surely as a notable cricketer for Middlesex, MCC and Oxford University (but no Blue) he could have wangled his way onto the team.
I think soon after this game a Parliamentary XI was beginning to take shape which is why the Conservatives recruited Ted Dexter to fight Cardiff SE in 1964.
PS If anyone can trace a scorecard for this game, I'd quite like to see it.
