Early days stoner. Presumably he's with us until the end, so finals day possibly? I wouldn't write him off yet, especially, if we get there, on the big occasion. That sort of player I think - through all my knowledge of crocket, or whatever it's called.

Magoffin gets his passport "in the next few weeks"...as the wheels grind exceeding slow in the Passport Office and there are only 11 weeks of the season left, I take that to mean that there is no chance of his change of status happening this season!

Don't need a batsman anymore, says 600 and 311-2, need a spinner. Just think what we could do with a quality twirler tomorrow. Not many on the planet mind. As we like 'projects' maybe we should take on Panesar. My pick though, another former player, any guesses?

Can't see the Bailey thing happening, our championship priorities lie elsewhere. It is probably the easiest option though, at least he's here and available. However, we're getting a bit of a log jam in that middle order with, Machan, Joyce, Yardy, Cachopa, Nash, Wright, Finch, and perhaps Bailey, all competing for 4 places. If Nash sees himself as a middle order batsman now, and Joyce prefers 3 or 4, then we need to find another opening bat from somewhere

Forget Bailey we need an overseas spinner. We scored 600 last match and 492 this match so we don't need Bailey. We are failing to win games because we're not bowling out teams twice. Leave Joyce as opener and Nash at 4.

Forget Bailey we need an overseas spinner. Or an English spinner (not Dockrell or Burgoyne). Very frustrating to see that both Tredwell and Riley are currently playing for Kent seconds. One was playing for England only a few months ago and the other has been hailed as the most promising young off-spinner in the country. Yet neither could get in the Kent first XI for the wooden-spoon battle v Leicestershire this week...

This is why desperately need an overseas spinner. Look at Ajmal and Worcestershire!

I really don't understand why Tredwell signed a new deal with Kent. I see Herath and Kaushal have been left out of the Sri Lanka ODI squad, maybe one of those could come in if Mags qualifies quick enough.
