It had to happen. A new T10 tournament in UAE during December starts and our own Chris Jordan has a starring role for the Punjabi Legends. The T10 Cricket League will be contested between six teams over the weekend of the 14th – 17th December at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Matches will constitute ten overs-a-side and will last just 90 minutes each, with the emphasis as much on entertainment off the pitch as on it. Chris joins England teammate Adil Rashid on the Legends’ roster. The other English players involved are Liam Dawson, Alex Hales, Eoin Morgan, Liam Plunkett, and Ross Whitely. Other teams taking part are the Bengal Tigers, Kerala Kings, Maratha Arabians, Pakhtoon and Team Sri Lanka Cricket. The T10 Cricket League is Chris Jordan’s second confirmed appointment of the winter. The all-rounder will once again feature for Pakistan Super League side, Peshawar Zalmi in February and March. www.sussexcricket.co.uk/news-1/news-chris-jordan-set-for-t10-adventure

As you say, Wicked Cricket, T10 had to happen. You just know that T5 is on the horizon.

Apologies for not posting on this thread when the Sussex CCC media officer, Sam Keir, is doing such an excellent job keeping up with the various Sussex players overseas activities. The star of the winter has been Jofra Archer whose made a major impact at the Big Bash. Others like Mills have played cameo roles but important ones. Meanwhile, Chris Jordan is having a say in New Zealand. Sadly, Luke Wright is out with a back injury and presently not involved with the BBL. Hopefully, it is not the same disc/s that played up when he lifted his children some 18 months ago followed by a TWANG! As for our youngsters, Rawlins and Garton or Dr GG as I mischievously call them, are making good headway overseas and even Phil Salt has got in on the act by enrolling at the Darren Lehman Academy in Adelaide. Here is the latest update. www.sussexcricket.co.uk/news/round-week-ending-14th-january
