especially as Somerset may have been batting more slowly with expectation of 40+ overs. Exactly! It's complicated but they thought they would have 50 overs and used 5.1 to get to 10-2.... They were therefore lucky it was reduced to 33 overs having squandered 20% of their wickets....ie being cut to 33 became advantageous for them because they may have had to go slower to avoid being all out in 50.

Win the last two games and only Warwickshire can prevent qualification (if they pick up five points from six). Just seems unbeleivable that we are still in with a shout after Friday night.
