Cuckfield have signed Big Bash opening batsman Jake Weatherald for the 2019 season.
He plays for Dizzy’s Strikers who won last year but has not been capped for Australia so not eligible to play for Sussex which is a shame as he’d be a good fit. Quite a coup for Cuckfield. Hopefully he’ll turn out for our 2nd XI for a few games.

Cuckfield spend a lot every season on an overseas player. I dont agree with it but there are a few wealthy clubs that do the same. Should in my opinion be restricted to under 21s, not established pros.
