Hi folks. Apologies for invading your forum! Some of you may be aware that Women's County Cricket Day takes place on 6th May. With the distinct reduction in weekend (and Bank Holiday) county cricket this season, it seemed like a good opportunity to encourage county members and supporters all over the country to go and watch their women's team. Sussex play at home to Notts that day at the Aldridge Academy. It's a 50-over game in the Royal London One-Day Cup (or County Championship, if you prefer). 11 am start. Admission is free! As I'm sure you all know, Sussex boast a throng of England players - Sarah Taylor, Danni Wyatt, Georgia Elwiss, Linsey Smith and newly-capped Freya Davies - so should be well worth watching if you've never been along before. If you can't get to the match that day, then Sussex have the following home fixtures throughout May and June: 50 oversSunday 5th May v Warwickshire Monday 6th May v Nottinghamshire Sunday 19th May v Surrey T20Sunday 16th June v Kent (10.30) and Surrey (4.30) You can read more about WCCD here... crickether.com/support-womens-county-cricket-day/And you can follow us on Twitter - @womenscricday

(For those who can't make Monday, Sussex are also at home this Sunday, 5th May, v Warwickshire, also at the Aldridge Academy)
