With Wiese, Robinson and Jordan I still don't see him playing much once the latter two return. It is about time Garton performed because his performances to date in the first team have been underwhelming. Have you got some sort of grudge against this lad? He has the second best bowling average behind Hamza, the second best tally of wickets behind Hamza and an economy rate of 5. To date he’s out performed Jordan Briggs and Wiese with the ball in the RLOD. He’s also taken 2 catches and 2 run outs. Underwhelming?? No I don't. I would have liked to have seen him progress forward more. His biggest issue to date has been economy rate. That said, the last two games he has been much much better. I was particularly pleased to see him grab his opportunity with the bat yesterday. |
