Why has he been banned for just 21 days when Ed Giddins was banned for 19 months? Given his involvement with Stokes incident he shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad as he clearly hasn't learnt his lesson.

Because he's needed for the World Cup?

I am a little bemused. Your assumption that he takes cocaine is almost libellous. It could just as easily be cannabis or even, dare I say, high dosages of painkillers.

The positive test was for cocaine. What a donut, should have learned his lesson by now. Someone mentioned Jade Dernbach has also been caught.

I don’t like the term ‘recreational drug’ It’s a Class A drug with possession punishable by law by up to 7 years imprisonment and therefore has no place in professional sport.
Hales is an idiot and this isn’t the first time he’s brought the game into disrepute, He’s in a position of privilege and responsibility and as such should be made an example of otherwise its giving out the wrong signals to youngsters.

You haven't and why I said 'almost libellous'. Giddins is the best known cocaine culprit in cricket. Therefore, when you say his name that is what you are referring.

To compound a bad week for Hales:
Wonder how long Notts will tolerate him? He has a white ball contract and misses white ball games, seems pretty pointless to me. They scored 400 yesterday without Hales and Slater and with all of the top six scoring half centuries.

Big deal, young man wants to enjoy a night out so does a bit of coke. Slap on the wrist and back in the team. He done nothing on that Bristol night either, except stand around watching his mate's back while he got a bit punchy. Talking of Stokes, he's been pants since all that stuff. I reckon he's gone soft, lost his edge, turned into a liberal. No aggression, no confrontation, no good Stokes.

Getting caught taking drugs, getting dumped by his girlfriend for cheating and then being dumped form the England squad really has made it a bad week for Hales.

Getting caught taking drugs, getting dumped by his girlfriend for cheating and then being dumped form the England squad really has made it a bad week for Hales. But it's all self-inflicted.
