He’s scored successive 100’s hundreds and bowled plenty of overs. His injury can’t be that bad!!!

Would it be possible? in football if a player retires due to injury and the club/player receive an insurance pay out, that effectively stops that player competing again in professional sport unless he repays in full or something like that anyway

Turned up the following year at Hants, and has been there ever since. I assume the insurance money had to be paid back. Basically Middlesex had taken one look at the specialists report and decided he would never be the same again, and the insurance paid out. But he's still playing!
