It's new!
There’s been a big change! The forum has been changed from the Unofficial Sussex CCC Forum to the From The Sea End Forum. What’s more, the forum is now part of a bigger website which contains news, reviews, facts and figures and a list of the fixtures.
The www.from-the-sea-end.co.uk website has been hiding in the background for a few weeks now, but over the next week or so, it will be more fully integrated with the forum. You are already able to link to and from the main website or you can just access the forum as you have always done. So, if you are not interested in the main website, nothing changes (the same web addresses for the forum will be available).
What’s new in the www.from-the-sea-end.co.uk website?
There are four new sections. These are:
Review – In the summer, there will be a weekly review which will be published each Monday with a monthly review in the winter published on the first Monday in each month. There will also be some occasional news items or topics, possibly reflecting discussions on the forum.
Facts & Figures – All the players’ batting and bowling averages will be available plus a number of other interesting statistics. One of the statistics will be highlighted from time to time to look at, for example, who scores the highest percentage of their runs as boundaries.
Fixtures – All the fixtures for the 1st and 2nd teams are available plus any other fixtures taking place at Hove.
Links – There will be a page of links to other websites of interests. If you have any ideas for other links, please let us know.
Would you like to contribute?
Ideally, we would like four contributors who can share the weekly review. Reviews have been posted for the last few weeks, but it would be good to get some different viewpoints. If you would like to do, say, one review per month or want to post a one-off news item, just let us know.
Can I give feedback?
Yes, please. Either post it on this thread or send a message from the website using the contact form. Please take a look at the new website and let us know your views on it. Any ideas you have to improve the website will be welcome.
