Because it's a full day of sport and this looks like fun.
First up Surrey bring back the 'stars' and get smashed around for the first 5. I actually really hope they do well but they still can't get over their fixation with jokers like Dernbach.

Well that was weird. Didn't use Ansari at all despite spin working and persisted with Dernbach who promptly goes for his usual 56 off 4.

MoM Dernbach because without him Warwickshire would never have won. Seriously who on this planet would pick Dernbach over Meaker?

I approve of Cricinfo's insistence on referring to 'Warwickshire' and not 'Birmingham'.

So much for the excuse that Sussex suffered from being in the southern 'group of death'. Both finalists from the 'easy' northern group...
Coles had an even worse day than Dernbach. One can imagine the spiteful cackling from the schadenfreuders at his former county!
Looks like Flintoff plays in the final. Hope he fares better than Coles and Dernbach - I'd hate to see him humiliated.

Well Freddie did OK, but Anderson ("England's premier bowler you're going, mate!" in the words of Lord Strauss, who had clearly been told by the Sky producer to try for the common touch), went for more runs than Coles and almost as many as Dernbach.
Who would be a bowler in the modern white ball game? It's the sporting equivalent of WW1 trench fodder. No wonder Chris Liddle has got the yips (see s&f's wicked blog)...
