What sort of hell hole is this? Surely county cricket ground have to have a minimum standard. Surely adequate seating and proper toilets are a bare minimum. ECB should be seriously reviewing whether Kidderminster is a suitable venue for first class cricket. Having decided to move the game from Worcestershire to Kidderminster they have a responsibility to ensure supporters are able to get the match. Their attitude towards both Worcestershire and Sussex fans has been utterly deplorable and they should hold their heads in shame. www.wccc.co.uk/news/spectator-guide-vs-sussex-ccc-specsavers-county-championship-tues-18th-fri-21st-june-kidderminster-cc/ "Due to limited seating available at Kidderminster Cricket Club, it is advisable for all members and supporters to bring their own chairs."
Blimey, this is primitive. I guess they didn't have enough notice to arrange chair hire. You are alright with portaloos?
When we had engineering works we were expected and received numerous phone calls asking whether we were running replacement buses even though Southern were already running replacement buses albeit calling at every station in between. It is an utter disgrace that Worcestershire are not providing this since it is their decision to move the fixture to Kidderminster.

Clearly Kidderminster haven't heard or read the guide to safety at sports grounds (green book). I am not convinced either Kidderminster or Arundel confirm to this.
The safety guide says (page 107) "the provision of seated accommodation for all spectators is, wherever possible, recommended."

Hi all
I am fortunate enough to be in Worcster for the game at Kidderminster.
We should be very grateful to Worcester Ccc and Kidderminster Cc for their quick and decisive action. New Road has suffered a major natural and economic disaster which is very sad to see first hand.
Chester Road have stepped in at short notice to produce an excellent alternative ground with adequate facilities. The scene in Kidderminster can be described as charming.
Right let's get on with what looks to be an exciting three days cricket and hopefully bring the victory back to Hove. Which is better than the alternative. An abandoned draw and 5 points.
