A look at my recent phone bill reminded me that I've been charged at a premium rate for calls to SCCC when I attempted to book T20 quarter final tickets. I object in principle to premium rate phone charges, especially when the organisation in question is trying to sell me something. Many large organisations have taken the hint in recent years and now offer 'free phone' numbers. I would like to see SCCC follow suit, please. Do you know of any other clubs (cricket or otherwise) that charge members for phone calls?
