There is an interesting thought in The Cricketer newsletter this week - see link. It makes the point that we might miss a few farewells this season if players are not able to play in what would be their last season. It names Ian Bell, Alistair Cook, Ryan ten Doeschate and Darren Stevens as being possible victims. That all might be true, but surely Darren Stevens has got another five years left in him yet. (Smiley face thing in case I confuse)
