Wow - what a comeback by England. I thought we were dead and buried half way through the Aussie run chase. Great drama.

Looking forward to the 2nd match this afternoon. Expect a robust response from the Aussies!

As I understand it, England need to win the third T20 to have number one world rating. Phil Salt to clinch the series?

Hope so Phil. This is an exceptional one-day/T20 England side.
I'm puzzled by the pundits/selectors backing of Buttler opening - we have numerous players who can do what he does at the top, quicker on today's evidence, but only really Morgan who can do the finisher's job, the best being Buttler. I think we're wasting Banton and when Roy is back, Buttler won't open anyway, will he?
The Aussies are strong, we're missing Stokes & Roy and still dominating them really. T20 champions in the making, Archer & Wood were phenomenal. Rashid & Ali, all bases covered.

Well, the format's changed and so has the game plan it seems. Complete U-turn from the top order last night, letting the Aussies bowl like it was a test match throughout the powerplay left us all at sea and with too much to do. Hope Morgan is onto Roy, Bairstow & Root cos that was like 5 years ago. It ain't what made us world champs, don't go back to it ever.
