What you drinking George?!! Victory from the jaws of defeat. Nearly threw it away after great opening partnership. Good that chavs have nothing to play for now on Sunday.

Wow! T20 really is a great format. A wonderful afternoon’s entertainment. Yes, but think about how it would be even more exciting if there were 20 balls fewer and the last over was 10 balls rather than 6. [Removes tongue from cheek]

Must admit when Wiese went I thought we were dead in the water, enter George Garton with other ideas!
4 wickets, a brilliant catch and then 22 off Finn in the 19th, what a time bring out your best performance!

Kudos to Rawlins who also bowled brilliantly and Salt for his 50.

Like Joe, when Wiese was out I thought it was game over, not only in terms of this match, but of any future prospects of progressing to the quarter finals.
An absolutely outstanding all round performance from George Garton showing what a phenomenal talent he is, in particular his ball striking in the nineteeth over off Finn when I am sure we were all anticipating our worst fears.
Credit to Delray again, not for the first time this tournament, he often frustrates with his cavalier batting, but is a genuine talent in all three disciplines and whilst he missed out with the bat, bowled and fielded brilliantly. Finally, great to see Salt return to form, ably assisted by Luke giving us a great start. It was also good to see Claydon in the eleven, in the absence of our usual suspects a far better option as a bowler in the final overs.
However, not wishing to rain on the parade what I hope is not lost in the spoils of victory is how close we came to throwing this away. 109-2 after 13.3 overs, needing 47 off 39 deliveries with 8 wickets in hand absolutely cruising became very desperate and ended up relying on one player's heroics. We will be lucky to get away with this again, assuming we qualify.
On that subject, we couldn't have seen a worst set of results in today's other matches with wins for Kent, Durham, Somerset, Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Somerset already having a better NRR than us, compounded further by Lancashire's capitulation now significantly improving Durhams to the degree they also have better than us.
They all have tough fixtures on the last day and it would be a cruel twist of fate if all the results went against us, but we may still need to win on Sunday to guarantee a quarter final place.

Excellent performance from George to see us home.
Also I think it's worth mentioning what an absolutely great job Adrian Harms does on the commentary. He conveys the excitement and nuance of the game without being over the top or leaning too far in favour of Sussex. Having Ben Brown in the box for the home T20's is also a nice touch.
