I was trying not to watch Tipping Point today when a question about which county cricket club had a stallion as their emblem, and I was stumped. A few years ago channel hopping tuned into Eggheads and didnt know "Picca" was the nickname of Graham Dilley. For the hat trick, was unaware that Pat Pocock is the only person to have played Test cricket with both Colin and Chris Cowdrey when that poser emerged on QoS.
I do know Joe Bugner has fought both Joe and Marvis Frazier.

You know the remote for the TV Tippy? That's what you use to turn the tele over. I presume the answer is Kent?

Back in August 1970, when I was 11, Sussex were hosting Kent in the County Championship at Eastbourne which usually meant a 7 day attendance for the two 3 day games and the Sunday JPL match. Unfortunately the Kent game coincided with a Crusader camp in Studland, Dorset on which I had been booked and it meant I was unable to get the autographs of England Internationals Denness, Luckhurst, Cowdrey, Knott and Underwood as well as John Shepherd, who were all playing as it didnt clash with a Test.
My slightly younger brother usually tagged along with me on such occasions and I begged him to get these stars to sign my autograph book. On my way home from camp I was really looking forward to seeing these signatures staring up in front of me. But despite the fact that he went, the Saffrons was barely a stone's throw from our house, he hadn't managed to get one bloody signing! Not even Alan Ealham, David Nicholls or Norman Graham. He said he did did ask Knott but he had his WK gloves on so declined. When I started berating him, our Mum took his side. There was no excuse for him as this very slow witted kid we knew had got virtually the whole side. Even today, 50 years on, I'm still really p****d off even though I couldn't care less about the autographs now.
As another matter of related interest, circa 2001, I was reliably informed that Denness and Luckhurst couldn't even make the Kent Over 60 side, bearing in mind these teams usually comprise good veteran club players who have never made the county grade yet alone international status.
