Did Surrey release him? If so, why? Did he choose Sussex over Surrey? If so, why?
Let's hope the three young quicks we have, in addition to Garton & Robinson, get plenty of game time. Which begs the question, what's the old cheat from Australia still doing here? The new management need to wake up and lose him.

Alec Stewart said the following in a Surrey members forum "Shaun Hunt to Sussex – Not under contract, no 2nd team cricket last year. Currently playing grade cricket in Adelaide. Offered a 2 year contract by Sussex in November. Surrey felt he did not tick every box so did not offer contract." |

Signed a 2 year extension, good news given how he finished the year, still a very young man.
Farbs talks alot of about character maybe he's gradually weeding out the bad eggs and trying to build a dressing room of strong characters happy to hold each to account.

He definitely improved a lot towards the back end of the season and even managed to keep his foot behind the line. If he continues to improve he’ll be an asset to the squad.
