We won’t attract any better - give him a full season and I think Travis Head will score a lot of runs @no4.

Travis Head great in Australian conditions, rubbish in English conditions!

We won’t attract any better - give him a full season and I think Travis Head will score a lot of runs @no4. I wouldnt disagree i think the added responsibility of captaincy would help him. |

I’d have no issue with him coming back and he’d certainly be a candidate for the captaincy.

Great news that Travis is back for the whole season; and Captain of the County Championship.
Championship XI looking good and should compete well:-
Orr
Haines
Brown
Head
Garton
Carter
Hudson Prentice
Carson
Crocombe
Finn
Atkins
Good competition for places with Ibrahim, Coles, Hunt, Clarke, Rawlins and Lenham pushing for places.
We may also get the odd game from Archer and Robinson.

We may also get the odd game from Archer and Robinson. Ibrahim will start every game he’s available id think and I’d imagine Garton will be at that IPL so won’t play much. We could really do with another experienced bat at number 5 and maybe an OS bowler and then we’d have a chance |

Yes I agree, Ibrahim a definite starter. Garton too high at 5.

Not sure we'd ever need or want 6 bowlers especially if there are overs in Head and Haines. Team looks inbalanced at the moment so i think we'll need another batter to come in.

Great to see Head as captain and hopefully he can produce the sort of form he has been for South Australia.
In terms of a lineup, I would love something like this…

That should be team and order DSL - did you once sell me a sofa? Anywho, that fifth batter can be OS too can't he.
I do wonder about some of these numb-nuts posting above with they're inexplicably bad balance and GG at 5 talk.
Hopefully Head will score a run or two next season.
