Sussex Eastbourne, Horsham, Arundel, Hastings - Priory Meadow
Kent T Wells, Maidstone,
Surrey Guildford
Hampshire Portsmouth (US Services Ground)
That's about it. Have seen plenty of others on my travels although not to see cricket, eg Kidderminster, Worksop, Chesterfield and Blackpool. When they're not decked out for cricket they can look pretty ordinary. Rather like Devonshire Park tennis grounds which is a real showpiece for the Aegon Event before Wimbledon unlike at other times of the year.
When I stayed at the Grand Hotel in Scarborough, which is a contradiction of its name, I looked out the town's cricket ground which usually hosts Yorkshire at the end of the season. Pretty impressive although it was a bit shabby when I visited. Certainly had the facilities and size to befit the HQs of some counties.

Sussex: Arundel, Horsham, Eastbourne, Hastings (new ground)
Kent: Tunbridge Wells - wonderful in the spring
Surrey: Guildford - (sub)urban environment - quite ordinary
Gloucs: Cheltenham - lovely festival ground
Yorkshire: Scarborough - unique funky character - loved it

The Neville Ground in T Wells is superior to Mote Park in Maidstone, roderdendrums in full bloom in early June when Kent play Sx. Kent used to use several more outgrounds like Beckenham, Gillingham, Dartford, Folkestone and Dover. I did once play rugby for Hastings & Bexhill at the Crabble in Dover on the same pitch they played cricket. The football ground is on the same site but at an adjacent level, not dissimilar to Folkestone which is on the same site as the town's football ground but they're detached from each other (unlike Saffs in Ebne where football and cricket are on the same field, side by side).
Despite attending public school in Bath in the 1970s where I boarded and watched Bath RFC and took in a Bristol City game during my sojourn, I never saw Somerset play at their outground near the river even though they were in action during the term time. I can't even recall seeing the ground, which despite the backdrop of this beautiful city isn't one of the better ones, which from what I can glean are Colchester and Chesterfield.

I went to that ground in Bath with Jimmy Saville after writing in to Jim'll Fix It. It was a dark day. Then the rain came so we parted company. Where the hell should this go?
Oh lookie here, Tiptoes is one of those football hooligans from the 70s who boarded at private school. Very frightening hooligan Tiptoes, I'm sure you gave the Chelsea Head Hunters the heebie-jeebies you brut.

I was lucky enough to witness Ollie Robinson hit a six to win the game by one wicket at Colwyn Bay a few years ago. If I remember correctly, he added 20-odd for the last wicket chasing a low target.
I also visited Chesterfield a few years ago but that wasn’t a game against Sussex. A nice ground in a nice town that shuts down on Sunday night.
Scarborough is a good venue but not as special as it is made out to be, although, if you like Yorkshire humour, there’s plenty a witticisms from the crowd.

I was at the Spurs v Chelsea game in 1978 when Spurs had just returned to div 1 and we hadn't played Chelsea since the notorious relegation battle in 1975 that we won 2-0 which doomed Chelsea to division 2 for 2 seasons. As me and my mate Shane boarded the tube train at Seven Sisters back to Victoria, we heard all this commotion from up the platform and stepped off to see what was happening. And Babs (Chelsea's top boy and easily recognisable, google him) had got on the train a station before and then got off at SS screaming like a banshee with his henchmen looking for "arguments" with Spurs fans on the platform about to board. He squared up to Shane, who incidentally is 6'4" and had served time in DC for fv in the same prison as Jeffrey Archer before it was upgraded to prison. Babs thought better of taking him on, ran down the platform with his 2 mates into a carriage on the train then back up and attacked Shane from behind with his mate while I had to battle the other guy. We came off worse, walked back up the station steps and Shane asked one of the staff if he had a spare shirt as his was bloodied through a busted nose. We boarded the next train back with no further hiccups.

Sure you're not getting mixed up with lovely Buxton? Another spa town with a notable Georgian crescent like Bath. Forever remembered as snow stops play in June 75 during a Derbyshire game

Did I ever tell you about the time I had a threesome with Michael Jackson and Princess Diana?

Scarborough seems to be a common denominator.
Saw Sx smash Bucks at Beaconsfield in a Nat West game in 1992.

I've been to watch cricket at the following out grounds:
Kent: Tunbridge Wells; Beckenham; Maidstone, Dover, Dartford, Folkestone Sussex: Eastbourne Glamorgan: Abergavenny; Swansea Essex: Ilford; Hampshire: Portsmouth Gloucestershire: Cheltenham; King's School Gloucester (2nd XI!)
I guess Abergavenny is probably the prettiest, or Cheltenham. Tunbridge Wells pushes them close when the rhododendrons are in bloom! I'd love cricket to return to Maidstone though.

How could I forget the first County game I went to and, indeed, the ground I was born about 400 yards from - Blackheath. Kent used to play Surrey there every year. One year, they played Essex for some reason. I forget the exact scores but they were very low and that meant the end of Blackheath.
Despite this, I’ve ended up supporting Sussex, although my football allegiance has remained with Charlton.
