What a pity for George. His partnership with Salt was very enjoyable to watch.
Only 6 runs an over needed with 4 overs left.

What an extraordinary turn-a-round. Well done the Sharks. Garton and Salt the outstanding
stars of the night. Excellent captaincy from Jordan. The less said the better about our senior
batsmen.
We had our moments of luck, but when things go for you, they go for you. A great start
to the campaign... and without Wright too.

Well some of these posts aged well….🤭 Ha-de-ha, I was thinking that. One game. Different format so one game. A win does wonders for out of form players, give them a bit of room though, right Ash? Yeah you know it. Wouldn't catch me jumping the gun, no sir. Funny looking team, great displays from presumably MOM Garton, Salt and Jordan - three big guns. So where is Rashid? Head weren't ever in for this tournament anyway, was he? Great start. |

George Garton is carrying on where he left off last season in the Blast, a brilliant all-round performance.
