Very disappointing.
What has happened to umpires ability to take control of on field situations, speaking to the bowler/fielder, involving the captain if it continues and so on. Umpires who are unable to 'own it' are doing themselves no favours.
Luckily, the sanction is suspended. I do however agree that the England & Wales Cricket Board should be concentrating on persistent ongoing training for umpires to allow them to be more consistent and giving them the confidence to assume control over on field situations such as these before they escalate. It may even result in more respect from the players.

How can an umpire control a situation if he has given someone out and the batsman stands there for an age before he walks off?
Even if the decision was 'wrong' the batsman has to accept it, because the umpire isn't going to change his mind
