The winning streak in this year's T20 Blast has been interrupted by two washed out games, leaving Sussex on 8 points from 5 games. Most other games in the Southern Group have also been washed out over the last few days although Kent managed to play on Sunday and win convincingly against Essex, a win that puts them back on top with 10 pts from 6 games. Whether Surrey get the chance to face Essex at The Oval on Monday evening looks doubtful, which is arguably a point lost for Surrey.
Tuesday's visitors to Hove are Glamorgan. Glamorgan's form in the T20 Blast this season has been mediocre. They have recorded two wins from the five completed games with their last scheduled game on Saturday at Taunton called off. Their best performance was their home game against Essex in which they chased a target of 154 successfully to win by 7 wickets. In that game, Nick Selman and Marnus Labuschagne scored most of the runs.
In their other win over Middlesex, also at home, Colin Ingram scored 75 to reach a total of 150 give his team something to bowl out. Timm van der Gugten made the biggest contribution to bring about Middlesex's downfall with figures of 3-13 from 4 overs.
Clearly, Marnus Labuschagne is a danger, scoring at a rate of 135 per 100 balls this season. Dan Douthwaite has been the most successful bowler, although responsibilities have been fairly evenly shared around.
Although Sussex did not face Glamorgan in the T20 Blast last season, Sussex recorded four wins out of four encounters in the previous two years - all by big winning margins. Can Sussex repeat this? We are just going to have to wait and see, I guess.

Sussex P5 8 Pts
Surrey P5 8 Pts
Gloucestershire P6 6 Pts
Glamorgan P6 5 Pts
