I reckon we were due a loss and good to get it out of the way. A rare bad game for Garton, probably got the weight of expectation on his shoulders at the moment and tried too hard. Glenn Philips was the difference between the two sides and once Salt and Wright had gone so had the game.
Travis Head has been a huge disappointment and David Wiese hasn’t turned up yet either which is worrying.

Travis has not been a total disappointment, look how good he was in the 2nd XI T20 semi-final. 🙂

What disappointed me was the way we lost. Gloucester showed how difficult it was batting in the first ten overs. We ignored this. Our top order batters, apart from Wright, needed to occupy the crease longer and push 1s and 2s. Too many misstimed big shots. Hey ho. Draw a line under this loss and bounce back with a win against Surrey.

There's only room for one comedian on this board Jimbon, and he goes by the name of Ashingtonmarket, or summin. What's going on, I go to Bognor for two weeks, come back and we've only played one game, and we lost the f****r. I was kinda expecting us to have won the Mickey Mouse Cup by now and got back to real cricket. Or as our leaders call it - the Mickey Mouse Championship. Win toss bowl, win toss bowl, win toss bowl - look at conditions for once Wright. When's Khan coming in for Head? We need another young batter or two in there, you don't need eight bowlers.
