Anyone know how long they have to isolate for? Their participation in the next 4-day game must be in jeopardy as well😫. Presumably the standard 10 days. 4 day game will probably get rained off anyway

To quote Freddie Mercury - Another one bites the dust. Our T20 season is going to hinge on a handful of games.

Is 5 T20 abandonments a record for Sussex?
Ho-hum, at least we can watch the second half of the England v Germany game.

I’d say it was a distinct possibility if we have many more no results. Kent are yet to lose a game to the weather and no one has lost more than Sussex. Talk about goat mouthing Kent!

Is 5 T20 abandonments a record for Sussex? Because it has been moved for the bloody hundred. Unfortunately we have a bunch of morons running cricket.

If aliens are grading you S&F they would say 'needs to pay better attention to time keeping and scheduling' - amongst other derogatory things, like can't write without an edit and got a weird girly name (did have). Anywho, covid then. Covid and rain. Stupid planet. Engerland, Engerland, Engerland. We're dull, but Engerland.

Unfortunately, I actually purchase tickets to watch live T20 games and it takes me an hour's drive to travel to the County ground. Being of an age that I remember England last beating Germany in a tournament back in 1966, I am rather pleased the cricket was abandoned tonight. It made the disappointment all worthwhile given all the football action came in the second half.

Bad luck in having 3 home T20 matches at same time as England playing matches in the Euros, fortuitously all 3 succumbed to the weather.
