Extremely disappointing.
I appreciate there is the Covid factor to take into account, but Middlesex is a team we usually beat in the T20.
Glamorgan, surely, is a must win?

Extremely disappointing. I appreciate there is the Covid factor to take into account, but Middlesex is a team we usually beat in the T20. Glamorgan, surely, is a must win? A couple of years ago, we had the likes of Evans, Carey, Rashid, Jordan, Archer, Robinson, Garton. It's no wonder we struggled last night. I reckon all of those would have improved to the team that played last night.

I take your point, but in recent years a new season begins with optimism and hope for Sussex supporters and during those first few months this is justified. Then, it all unravels as one disappointment quickly follows another. I accept the rain, I even accept the Covid difficulties, but how long can one take the recent barrage of disappointments? All we are looking for are team improvements and just as they show themselves, they are then dashed. If we don't win tonight, then I fear Sussex will not reach the QFs. Momentum has disappeared and when coupled with the Covid situation and the abandoned games... I don't see how the team can pick themselves up. Pray for a miracle. The Argus says of Sussex CCC, "The world is against them at the moment." www.theargus.co.uk/sport/19414349.sussex-sharks-suffer-vitality-blast-defeat-middlesex/

The bowlers did a good job to restrict them to 166 after they got off to a flier.
There are no excuses for last nights performance. We had 4 international batsmen in our top 6 plus Salt who is one of the best on the circuit. On a flat track they should have knocked those runs off with no difficulty, the buck stops there. Nothing to do with the weather, COVID, call ups etc.
Travis Head was V/C of Australia last year ffs! And he was upstaged by a rookie on debut!
