Eight bowlers there. Number 7 in T20 cricket only face an average of five balls so in the hundred the number 6/7 may not even be required to bat. Davies, Rawlins and Whiteley average 20, 10.5 and 25 respectively with the bat in T20 this season so don't look great selections in what is a bowler heavy squad. I suspect Vince will play and captain the side despite Hampshire being bottom and Vince only averaging 23 and Dawson is only averaging 16.25. Lintott has 12 wickets and so could be a good signing if given the chance. However, is is hard to see him breaking into the starting XI. Waller with only 5 T20 wickets @ 43 for Somerset is a very poor selection and his average is worse than Beer. Archie Lenham would have been a better selection than Waller.
