By my reckoning, Hampshire need to beat Glamorgan in 14 overs to go above Surrey. If they score more than 185, they may have an extra ball or two. Looks like that could be on the cards at the moment Indeed, Hampshire win but now need to sweat on results. We must now win or tie to qualify as defeat would put us below Surrey on NRR. Any chance of a freak storm over East Kent? It seems not. Gloucestershire’s result no longer matters to us in terms of qualification.

Archer for Claydon and more surprisingly Carter for Lenham. Kent have won the toss and are batting.

Looking across the county game number 6 and 7 normally only bat a handful of balls. If the top five batsmen can't do the job you will lose the vast majority of T20 games

131 to win. Good performance from the Sussex bowlers. Only concern is that the pitch is sluggish which won't help Salt or Wright.
Patience is key. Don't chase the ball on a slow wicket.

If we can’t win this we don’t deserve to get to the quarter finals.
Good to see Wiese contribute with the ball and Bopara was excellent.

Salt out for a blob. 0 for 1. Surely not.

If the top five batsmen can't do the job you will lose the vast majority of T20 games Sure but this is a one off must win game and given that Wiese has contributed almost nothing at 5 for the whole season the extra batsman is nice to have. That being said I've captained a solitary game 30 years ago so I can't claim to have any idea what I'm talking about

Being lazy, but who may we be playing in the QF? Home or away? Down to Somerset and Glos?
