Hopefully we will get Yorkshire in one of the first two games of the season with Lees, Lyth, Root, Ballance, Gale, Williamson and Rashid all possibly missing for Yorkshire.

You forgot Plunkett. Gale will only miss the first Championship match as his suspension covers the farcical match in Abu Dhabi v MCC.I think it is highly likely that Andrew Hodd will play as a specialist batsman in the early games. He regularly opened for the seconds and I saw him score 165 opening in a late season match.
