Terry Cooper is the latest of the great Leeds side of the early 1970s managed by Don Revie to pass away. In the last 3 years Paul Madeley, Norman Hunter, Big Jack, Peter Lorimer, Mick Bates and Trevor Cherry have all faced the grim reaper. Only Jack Charlton was aged over 80. Don died of MND in his 60s and Billy Bremner succumbed to fate in his 50s.
Better news is that over half the Sussex Gillette Cup winning side of 1963 are still with us.
As are Rolf Harris and Stuart Hall, aged 90 and 91 respectively.

Oh thank goodness. I'm not sure I could take it if Hall and Harris died, not since losing the Ripper. Still reeling from West and that was 26 years ago.
