No. Someone got hold of him and he didn't care cos only one man and his dog was watching. Ask him where he'd rather be. Everyone loves this, players, coaches, viewing figures are high and grounds are packed. They don't need traditionalists I'm afraid. Grounds are only packed because all the tickets have been given away for free! Where will these cricketers be when this fad dies as it will just as fast as emerged? When it does we can get back to playing some proper cricket than this rubbish. Worcester was the best match of the season.

Free for U5s. Tickets are cheaper but they can be cos all games are at big grounds with full houses.
I've just won 30 big ones on tonight's game. Result, how much is a Mars bar these days?

The batting in the hundred has been bloody awful (worse than village green standard)! To be fair, as a traditionalist, you are not part of the target audience. I wouldn't expect you to approve of it or enjoy it. I think you denigrate it because if it succeeds it will upset the existing domestic structure.

I'm a traditionalist, but I'm also a realist. Move with the times or be bitter cos times are always changing. The sooner there's two forms again the better. There's a long one and a short one, no need for one in the middle and talking of tradition, for over a 'hundred' years there wasn't.
I should work in advertising.

I will judge the success of it when people actually have to pay for the tickets rather than them being given away for free. Standard of batting has been rubbish compared to T20 with teams not chasing down 140 which is only 168 in T20 terms. I question the entertainment point as of the two competitions T20 is more entertaining. Franchise model won't work here as people no affiliation with Southern Brave or Northern Superchargers. Once the novelty wares off and they actually have to pay for the ticket I expect demand to fall significantly. It is nothing but a deliberate power grab by the eight biggest counties and the other ten counties are too thick to see this.

If you buy a ticket it is for both the women's and men's game. The only way to truly popularity of both men and women's cricket is to sell the tickets separately.
