Dan Lincoln looked a useful player when helping Kent out during the Covid issues and then in the RLCup. I remember him playing for Middlesex too. Wasn’t he a football goalkeeper? For Reading I think. |

Great 2024 for Ward, with Oxford getting promoted and now a hundred contract .
Always had a soft spot for Ward after watching him play for Horspath (lovely ground ) on lazy weekends.
His style is much the same then as now.
What a player.
He has payed a big part in our vastly improved power plays.
Great to see Hughes mentoring him last night. Presumably saying “don’t give your wicket away”.
Not sure even a firing Ali Orr would have done much better than Ward this year.
It would be a travesty if we don’t tie him down to a new contract .
