There wasn't racism at Yorkshire. There was liberal pretend racism but not actual racism. Actual racism is when you are forced to leave your land at the threat of death because you are the 'wrong' race. Read the evidence on Ballance around that LB.
Lads mucking about saying stupid things and a club trying to cover it up in fear of the obligatory s**t storm from an American movement with too much time on its hands is simply not racism.
The liberal west needs to wake up to reality.

Nonsense? You're dismissive of people being forced from their homes because of their race but are incandescent and thoroughly condemning of name calling based on race - all because the shoe is on the other foot and it doesn't suit your narrative. You're so blinded by liberal virtue signalling it's laughable.
You need to take a look at what you're saying GM Whatever. It's bad.

You do't read (or read and don't understand) what others post, and then make it up to suit your confused, but really rather nasty, mind set. You are the worst sort of keyboard warrior who espouses disgusting views whilst hiding your identity behind an alias.

Worse than the ones that write nasty things about Sterling or Rashford when they miss a chance? Haven't heard about that lately have we? Astonishing really, given the millions and millions of people who could do it in such a racist country. I think one person said something 6 months ago when his team lost to Rashford's. Not a bad return out of the 50 million or so people that use Instagram and twitter, and all the other s**t like that out there that's killing young people early.
Anybody can trace me if they want to. Especially authorities if they feel they should. I've never said anything I wouldn't broadcast to the world through a *** megaphone.

Storm Clouds GatherThe pressure on Yorkshire CCC Members to vote YES on the Club’s “rehabilitation reforms”, created by the DCMS and supported by the ECB, mounts as the Daily Mail reports that alternative Test venues have been already drawn up to take over from Headingley if a NO vote occurs on March 31st. Changes demanded include having eight independent directors on their board and confirming Lord Kamlesh Patel as chairman, even though many have already voiced disapproval after 2 previous EGMs were postponed. New Zealand’s third test could be moved to the Ageas Bowl with the ECB continuing to threaten by stating Headingley’s ODI against South Africa later on in the Summer will also be moved. Yet, the ECB is in a weak position itself. Not only is the Test team at its lowest ebb for several decades, fuelling dissent from England supporters, but due to Covid, the Board has the least amount of money left in its coffers for a very long time. While SKY Sports has been the ECB’s saviour since the early 1990s, it is unclear how the Board can recuperate its finances when it continues to save a majority of the 18 counties from financial ruin. At present, English cricket finds itself in a crisis not seen since the Kerry Packer affair in 1977. It has even been mooted that the 159 year-old county could be liquidated and reformed as a new club in a manner similar to Bury AFC and AFC Wimbledon, if their members do not approve these governance reforms. A BIG problem being: Yorkshire are a proud county with the strongest traditions within the 18 side set-up. To be stained by that indelible mark of racism and bigotry for the rest of its history, a mark that the vast majority of supporters “do not accept” and believe is “a grave injustice” has lead to this showdown. Once common sense leaves the table, this is what you are left with. A bludgeoning threat. How very sad indeed.

Less than 2 hours to the Yorkshire CCC EGM vote and things are getting messy. George Dobell continues his personal vendetta against Colin Graves, while Robin Smith says in the Telegraph, he would rather the club die than for Members to support Lord Patel’s reforms. As for Roger Hutton, he comes over as a typical school sneak. Do you believe him after Graves robust rebuttal in that Yorkshire Post interview?

As expected the three special resolutions were passed and Yorkshire can continue hosting International matches. The only surprise was how "overwhelming" the YES votes were.
Resolution 1 was passed with 85% of votes in favour: 1109 votes were cast with 932 for, 155 against and 22 abstentions. Resolution 2 was passed with 83% of votes in favour: 1107 votes were cast with 897 for, 182 against and 28 abstentions. Resolution 3 was passed 85% of votes in favour: 1105 votes were cast with 927 for 159 against and 19 abstentions.
Reacting to the agreed resolutions, Lord Kamlesh Patel, Chair of YCCC, said, “This support will help Yorkshire County Cricket Club to be an inclusive and welcoming place and gives us the clarity and certainty we need to keep building this great club.
"Yorkshire has now met the ECB’s conditions for the return of international cricket and, working with them, we’ll deliver some great events here at Headingley this summer. We’re looking forward to the start of the season, for all our teams and for cricket at all levels right across this County.”

Hopefully they will slither away into the background and oblivion now.

Up the Yorkies. This is England and we like a bit a banter and a few beers after the game. And during it, depending on your level.

If the DM is accurate (not always the case), this is serious: EXCLUSIVE: Up to 12 former Yorkshire staff to be charged by the ECB following Azeem Rafiq racism scandal... including his former team-mates Gary Ballance, Matthew Hoggard, Andrew Gale and Tim Bresnan
Sportsmail can reveal up to 12 former Yorkshire staff will be charged by the ECB
It comes after Azeem Rafiq claimed English cricket was 'institutionally' racist
Those on the list to be charged include Gary Ballance and Matthew Hoggard
The charges are believed to link to breaches of the ECB anti-discrimination codewww.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sp...m-scandal.html
