Fourteen people went to the Wycherleys’ funeral on 11 July this year. None of them could say they knew the couple they were mourning. Only three had even met Pat: Wouldn't the funeral have taken place back in 2014 when this all happened? Was your interest in this inspired by the new 4 part mini-series on Sky Atlantic that's just been released? It's called 'Landscapers' and I've just watched the whole series. Olivia Coleman and David Thewlis are superb as the wicked couple, and the screenplay and direction are both unusual, to say the least. It's darkly comic and well worth a watch. The story is far from straightforward. . .

The story, though bizarre wasn't as darkly comical as the missing cannoist from Hartlepool, assumed dead while still living with his wife with a secret escape hatch to a next door flat when visitors of family came, successfully claiming on the life insurance then escaping to Panama, and that was just the start en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Darwin_disappearance_case
